The National 25yd Prone Championships 2026 will be held in Dublin University Rifle Club on the 28th of June.
Competitors must be affiliated with TSI through their club or by individual affiliation. Contact secretary@targetshooting.ie to arrange this in advance of the competition.

Events and Prizes
Event 1: National 25yd Prone Championship/b>
This event is a 25yd Prone 60-shot qualifying event leading into a final. The event will follow 2025 ISSF timings and format.
Event 2: 25yd Prone Team of Three
This is a team event between affiliated Clubs. The Club with the three highest combined 60-shot scores will be deemed the winner. This event will be held concurrently with the National Championship. Prizes will be based on Qualification scores. No separate entry is required for this event.
Finals
The Finals for the National Championships will be held after all details have been concluded. Entry to the Finals will be restricted to those eligible to hold an Irish passport. The top eight eligible competitors from the Qualification standings will be selected to shoot in the Finals.
Class Prizes – Rifle
Competitors from Classes B, C and D will be eligible to compete for prizes in their Class. There will be three prizes per class. Prizes will be based on the Qualification scores. Re-entry is not permitted. There are no class prizes for the Air Pistol Championships.

Only one entry per competitor. Firing points will be assigned on the day. Extra details may be added where there is demand. Competitors must be eligible to hold an Irish passport to win National Medals.
NB: Insurance details (e.g. Country Sports Ireland Group Membership policy number) must be submitted prior to the competition if you have not competed recently at Dublin University Rifle Club. Evidence of a valid firearms license will be required on the day. Any external competitors that will require parking on the day must request so and send on their car registration by Thursday, 25th of June.
