National 50m Prone Championships 2026
The National 50m Prone Championships 2026 will be held in East Coast Shooting Club on the 22nd of August.
Competitors must be affiliated with TSI through their club or by individual affiliation. Contact secretary@targetshooting.ie to arrange this in advance of the competition

Qualification Detail 2: 13:15 (Call to Line: 13:00)
Qualification Detail 3: 14:45 (Call to Line: 14:30)
Followed by a Final and Medal Ceremony.
Events and Prizes
Event 1: National 50m Prone Championship/b>
This event is a 50m Prone 60-shot qualifying event leading into a final. The event will follow 2026 ISSF timings and format.
Event 2: 50m Prone Team of Three
This is a team event between affiliated Clubs. The Club with the three highest combined 60-shot scores will be deemed the winner. This event will be held concurrently with the National Championship. Prizes will be based on Qualification scores. No separate entry is required for this event.
Finals
The Finals for the National Championships will be held after all details have been concluded. Entry to the Finals will be restricted to those eligible to hold an Irish passport. The top eight eligible competitors from the Qualification standings will be selected to shoot in the Finals.
Class Prizes
Competitors from Classes B, C and D will be eligible to compete for prizes in their Class. There will be three prizes per class, dependent on entries. Prizes will be based on the Qualification scores. Re-entry is not permitted.

Only one entry per competitor. Firing points will be assigned on the day. Extra details may be added where there is demand. Competitors must be eligible to hold an Irish passport to win National Medals.
Adult Entry: €25.00
Student/Junior Entry: €15.00 – Please use separate payment option on Its Plain Sailing for discounted rate.
