Thank you to everyone who competed in the National Championships on the 11th & 12th April, and congratulations to all our medalists. A special congratulations to our new National Champions, Ruby Collins and Stephen Murphy!
Day 1 consisted of our Air Pistol Championships, in which Ruby Collins (WTSC) took both our Junior and Senior Air Pistol Championship medals! In a closely-fought final, Peter Nicholl (DRC) took home the silver medal and Eva Marriott (WTSC) took bronze. In our Junior Air Pistol Championship, 2nd place went to Dannon Roze Kutischev (WTSC) and 3rd place to George Wang (WTSC).
Wilkinstown Target Shooting Club continued their dominance of the Air Pistol Team of Three event, taking home the first-place plaque with a score of 1626-23x – identical to last year! Congratulations to Tomas Jakubauskas, Ruby Collins and Eva Marriott who contributed.
In our Air Rifle Championship, Stephen Murphy (DURC) retains his title as National Champion! Raymond Kane (WTSC) took home the silver medal and Qudseya Mohibbi (DURC) took bronze in her first time competing! A huge congratulations also goes to Giulia Naddeo (DURC); our new Junior National Champion.
Dublin University Rifle Club have clinched the Team of Three event for Air Rifle, with a score of 1811.2. Stephen Murphy, Veronika Zavatska and Marie Malinovska put in the high scores to claim the plaque on behalf of DURC.

Thank you to Geoff and Wilkinstown Target Shooting Club for lending us the use of your range for the weekend, to our Range Officers for volunteering their time to ensure the competition ran smoothly, and to everyone who helped out, from changing face cards to making tea!
